What we’ve built in
- A “Skip to content” link is the first thing you reach with the keyboard on every page.
- Every link, button and form field can be used with a keyboard, and the focus is always visible.
- Text and controls are designed for a contrast of at least 4.5:1, and pages work when zoomed to 200%.
- Pages have one main heading and headings in order; the page language is set to US English.
- Form fields have visible labels; errors are explained in text and announced to screen readers.
- Status messages, such as “Paid” or “Your eSIM is ready”, are announced to screen readers.
- Images that carry information have text alternatives; prices and instructions are text, not pictures.
- Buttons and links are at least 24 by 24 pixels, and larger on phones.
- Animations respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting.
How we check
We check pages with automated tools when the site is built. A full manual check with a keyboard and screen readers (VoiceOver and NVDA) on a phone and a computer hasn’t been done yet; we’ll update this statement when it has.
Known gaps
- Payment. You pay on Stripe’s payment page, which we don’t control. Stripe publishes its own accessibility information. If you can’t complete the payment, write to us and we’ll help.
- WhatsApp. Support chat runs in WhatsApp, which has its own accessibility features. You can always write to us by email instead.
- Installing the eSIM. Scanning a QR code can be hard with low vision. The email with your eSIM also contains the details for manual installation, and we can guide you step by step.
Tell us about a problem or ask for another format
If something on the site doesn’t work for you, or you need information in another format, write to support@esimworld.us or message us on WhatsApp, with “Accessibility” at the start. Tell us the page and what happened. We aim to reply within 5 business days.
