# Visible Global Pass: $10 a day with 2GB in 140 countries, the days Visible+ includes, and the full list

Visible's Global Pass is $10 a day on the base $25 plan for talk, text and 2GB of data with mobile hotspot, in 140 countries. It renews daily while on (checked on October 29, 2026, [Visible Global Pass](https://www.visible.com/globalpass)).

This site is not affiliated with Visible; we sell eSIMs. [How we compare](https://esimworld.us/how-we-compare/)

You may not need an eSIM. Visible+ and Visible+ Pro include Mexico and Canada, plus 1 or 2 Global Pass days a month. If your trip fits the days you have saved, keep your Visible line: you buy nothing.

Two costs to watch: once enabled, the pass runs every day you are away. Base Visible also pays $5 a day in Mexico and Canada. We compare public packages; check your own plan.

## How does the Visible Global Pass work and what does it cost?

Each Global Pass day on base Visible is $10 for "talk and text and 2GB of data with mobile hotspot". Once the pass is on, the page says, "you'll automatically have international access everyday you're away" (checked on October 29, 2026, [Visible Global Pass](https://www.visible.com/globalpass)).

So the bill counts days abroad with the pass on, not the data you use. Visible's steps: sign in to the app or your account, open Overview, select Global Pass and agree to its terms. Without autopay on, you also agree to its Autopay terms.

The 2GB is a data cap per day. Visible prints no speed for the rest of the day after it, so we give none.

Visible runs on the Verizon network ("Verizon's 5G & 4G LTE networks", its plans page says). The daily pass is Visible's own; Verizon's TravelPass is a different one: see [Verizon roaming](https://esimworld.us/roaming/verizon/).

## Pass days on Visible+ and Visible+ Pro, and what a trip costs

Visible+ includes 1 Global Pass day a month and Visible+ Pro includes 2, with up to 12 unused days saved. Annual plans carry 12 and 24 days a year, and each extra day is $10 (checked on October 29, 2026, [Visible Global Pass](https://www.visible.com/globalpass)).

Visible+ is $30/mo with code 5OFF5 ("Reg. $35/mo"), and Visible+ Pro is $40/mo with the same code ("Reg. $45/mo"), against $25/mo for base Visible (checked on October 29, 2026, [Visible plans](https://www.visible.com/plans)). Upgrade mid-cycle and the included day comes only the next month, the footnote says.

The table is our arithmetic: pass days only, no monthly plan price, no saved days.

| Days abroad (outside Mexico and Canada) | Base Visible | Visible+, 1 day included | Visible+ Pro, 2 days included |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | $20 | $10 | $0 |
| 7 | $70 | $60 | $50 |
| 14 | $140 | $130 | $120 |

With the full 12 days saved, a Pro line covers a 12-day trip at no pass cost. Fourteen days cost $20 (our arithmetic), so stay on Visible for that trip.

Before you set a travel eSIM against the pass, check your phone: [Is my phone unlocked?](https://esimworld.us/unlock/is-my-phone-unlocked/) and [Does my phone support eSIM?](https://esimworld.us/esim-compatible-phones/)

Our plans in the table are data only, so your US number stays on your main line ([data roaming](https://esimworld.us/help/data-roaming/)). The pass also carries talk and text on your Visible number. Hotspot on our plans: the plan doesn't state a hotspot rule — check the plan page.

| Trip | Visible pass days at $10 (our arithmetic) | Our plan, data only |
|---|---|---|
| 7 days in Europe | $70, 2GB a day | $11.99, 5GB, 30 days ([Europe eSIM](https://esimworld.us/esim-europe/)) |
| 14 days in Europe | $140, 2GB a day | $18.99, 10GB, 30 days |
| 14 days in Japan | $140, 2GB a day | $14.99, 10GB, 30 days ([Japan eSIM](https://esimworld.us/esim-japan/)) |

The pass gives more data: 2GB every day, so 14GB over a week against 5GB on our 7-day plan (our arithmetic).

Where we do not win: a 2-day trip on a Pro line costs $0 in pass days. A second line adds setup for nothing. For a longer trip, [work out your trip](https://esimworld.us/roaming-or-esim/).

## Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico and the USVI

Base Visible pays $5 a day in Mexico, Canada and Puerto Rico. Visible+ and Visible+ Pro include all three plus the U.S. Virgin Islands, and no pass day is used there (checked on October 29, 2026, [Visible Global Pass](https://www.visible.com/globalpass)).

On base Visible the USVI rate is unclear. The islands sit in the $5 group and on the $10 list, so check your plan before that trip. On Visible+ and Pro, with Mexico and Canada included, a footnote adds: "After 2 GB/day of data, speeds reduced to 3G."

Visible's FAQ puts it this way: on those plans Global Pass "will not be triggered" in all four places, "even if you have it enabled". Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands are not in this group: they are on the $10 list.

A week in Cancun costs $35 on base Visible and nothing extra on Visible+ (our arithmetic, assuming the daily rate applies each day). Many US plans already include Mexico and Canada — check your plan before you buy anything. The [roaming hub](https://esimworld.us/roaming/) sets the carriers side by side.

## Which 140 countries does the Global Pass cover?

These are the Global Pass countries: Visible lists 140 for the $10 daily pass. Below they keep its order and spelling. The $5 group above is separate; only the U.S. Virgin Islands appear in both (checked on October 29, 2026, [Visible Global Pass](https://www.visible.com/globalpass)).

Aland Islands, Albania, Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Argentina, Armenia, Aruba, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Belize, Bermuda, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, British, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Cayman Islands, Chile, China, Christmas Island, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Fiji, Finland, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Gabon, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guam, Guatemala, Guernsey, Haiti, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Isle of Man, Israel, Italy, Ivory Coast (Cote d'Ivoire), Jamaica, Japan, Jersey, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Latvia, Liberia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao, Malawi, Malaysia, Malta, Montenegro, Montserrat, Morocco, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Northern Mariana Islands, Norway, Oman, Palestinian Territory, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russian Federation, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, St. Barthelemy, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Martin, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Svalbard, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Turks and Caicos Islands, Uganda, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Uruguay, U.S. Virgin Islands, Vatican City, Vietnam

One entry reads only "British" on the page; if you are going to the British Virgin Islands, confirm with Visible. The list is Visible's coverage, not travel advice. To set the daily price against a plan, see [what a trip costs](#cost).

## eSIM on Visible and a travel eSIM next to your line

Visible puts new lines on eSIM: you "Select eSIM activation when placing your order", then finish in the Visible app. If you bring a number, the app has you wait for the transfer to finish before you activate (checked on October 29, 2026, [Visible eSIM](https://www.visible.com/unbox/new-member/esim)).

Switch at home before the trip, not at the airport.

A phone bought from Visible before January 20, 2026 unlocks automatically after 60 days active and paid in full. One bought on or after that date unlocks on request after 365 days. So does a financed phone bought from June 1, 2026, or sooner once its loan is paid off (checked on October 29, 2026, [Visible terms](https://www.visible.com/legal/terms-and-conditions)).

The phone also must not be reported lost or stolen or show signs of fraud. [Our unlock table](https://esimworld.us/unlock/#visible) sets Visible's rule beside other carriers.

Apple's page says: "You can have two eSIMs active at the same time on supported iPhone models." It also warns: "You might still incur roaming fees from your home eSIM" (checked on October 29, 2026, [Apple](https://support.apple.com/en-us/118227)).

With the pass on, Visible says you can "make and receive phone calls" abroad. A Reddit user in r/Visible wrote, citing older posts there, that you "have to have global pass" abroad: with a local eSIM for data or on Wi-Fi, "your visible WiFi calling stops working for incoming calls" ([Reddit, May 2025](https://www.reddit.com/r/Visible/comments/1ktik4a/visible_global_pass_is_useless_for_international/)).

That is one post, not a Visible rule: ask Visible how incoming calls work before you rely on them. How the two lines split calls and data: [dual SIM](https://esimworld.us/help/dual-sim/).

## When a travel eSIM is worth it on Visible

A travel eSIM can win on price for a week or more without saved pass days, if 5GB to 10GB for the trip is enough. It does not win in Mexico or Canada on Visible+, or on a short trip covered by saved days (checked on October 29, 2026, [Visible Global Pass](https://www.visible.com/globalpass)).

The pass gives you more if you need 2GB every day or calls and texts on your own number. On October 29, 2026, we checked 11 travel-eSIM sellers from a US IP. Their middle price for 10GB over 30 days, across 155 prices in 29 destinations, was $19.00.

For a long trip, see our [plans for Europe](https://esimworld.us/esim-europe/) and [plans for Japan](https://esimworld.us/esim-japan/), or compare [all carriers](https://esimworld.us/roaming/).

## Frequently asked questions

### Does Visible charge for international roaming?

Yes, outside what your plan includes. On the base $25 plan each day abroad with the Global Pass on is $10, or $5 in Mexico, Canada and Puerto Rico. Visible+ and Visible+ Pro include those three places and 1 or 2 pass days a month. After that, each day is $10 (checked on October 29, 2026).

### How do I turn off the Visible Global Pass?

Visible's Global Pass page gives no steps to turn it off. Its steps to switch the pass on start under Overview in the Visible app or account. Check that screen once you are back in the US, because the pass renews daily while on (checked on October 29, 2026).

### Does Visible+ include Mexico and Canada?

Yes. Visible+ and Visible+ Pro include Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and a Global Pass day is not used there. In Mexico and Canada, Visible's footnote says: "After 2 GB/day of data, speeds reduced to 3G." Base Visible pays $5 a day in Mexico and Canada (checked on October 29, 2026).
